"United in purpose, effective in Ministry"
The Association was called into existence by the leadership of independent ministers who were in fellowship together and felt the need for corporate accountability based upon the moral values contained and revealed in the Word of God.
The Association met for the first time on 26 July 2002 in Bristol to explore the common objectives of the different independent leaders.
Over the subsequent period numerous meetings were held to establish working documents for all to prescribe to who desired to be associated with this organisation.
On 12 September 2003 in a meeting in Bristol, Executive Officers were elected to bring the Association into legal status. The constitution that had been written up was accepted by all participants and the Executive members sworn in.
We understand that the Association will continually be refined and developed to meet the ever growing needs of ministers to be better equipped for the furtherance of the gospel.
